PRESS RELEASE: 18-006

SEPTEMBER 30TH, 2018 - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

  • ESTABLISHMENT OF THE BUREAU OF STATE SERVICES:

On July 5th, 2018 Lieutenant Governor Carl Duncan ordered the formation of the Bureau of State Services to address an overwhelming demand for services in the State of San Andreas that State personnel were unable to fulfill or areas that were ignored due to infrastructure constraints. The Bureau of State Services is tasked with the oversight of all Government Contracts. Since the formation, executive members of the Department of State have been tasked with enacting policies and regulations to allow for equal and fair consideration to all businesses applying. As a condition of all contracts, contracted services are required not to charge the citizen of San Andreas unless it is considered an "elective" procedure or service.

    GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS:

The following are a list of contracts available to the general public. Please note that some contracts may not be available at the time of the announcement.
    • AMBULANCE SERVICES
      • Ambulance services are a vital service provided to the people of San Andreas when they are in need of assistance. A comprehensive study has been conducted throughout the State of San Andreas that has determined the need for further ambulance providers. Businesses specialized in the medical field may apply with the Bureau of State Services to obtain a Government Contract to operate as an ambulance service provider. The State of San Andreas will provide all vehicles and buildings necessary to conduct such operations. It is required that you receive approval for a Medical Business License (click) found on the Department of Health's website.

      PORT AUTHORITY
      • The Port Authority is tasked with maintaining and running a major infrastructure in the State of San Andreas: The Ocean Docks Port. This contract is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all port services and to provide adequate security to anyone entering the Port. The State of San Andreas will provide vehicles, equipment, and necessary buildings to ensure the proper running of the Port.

      STATE MEDICAL SERVICES

      • Healthcare in the State of San Andreas is free, but it is essential that services provided are not operated by the State due to the limited constraints of the State. Doctor services ranging in urgent care, routine regular check-ups, and a variety of other services are a necessity to ensure everyone has access to adequate healthcare. The State of San Andreas is contracting businesses specialized in various medical services. The State of San Andreas will provide the necessary buildings and vehicles to businesses that are contracted. It is required that you receive approval for a Medical Business License (click) found on the Department of Health's website.
      SANITATION
      • Every State, County, and City must have a developed and planned sanitation service. Collecting refuge and maintaining facilities are vital to the successful removal of trash and to keeping the State and atmosphere free from pollutants. The State is providing vehicles and facilities to help ensure the successful management of our sanitation service to the people of San Andreas. Businesses applying for the sanitation contract must demonstrate a clear plan of action and ensure the smooth running of our collection services.

      STATE HOSPITALS
      • Every hospital in the State of San Andreas was previously ran by the State. Hospitals are an essential location for people who need long or short term medical care. They are also necessary to provide emergency care to individuals who are in need of help. The State of San Andreas is contracting various hospital locations out to medical businesses. Businesses must ensure strict compliance to the Bureau of State Services and the San Andreas Department of Health. Vehicles, facility needs, and equipment will be provided at no cost to the contractor. It is required that you receive approval for a Medical Business License (click) found on the Department of Health's website.

      Who can be a Contractor?

Anyone is able to become a Government Contractor as long as they meet the criteria. Companies applying should attempt to apply for a business license with the Bureau of Licensing beforehand. Most contracts offered require a registered business for the initial application.
