I've never been a fan of battle royale games. Was never phased about PUBG, Fortnite or any of the others trying to break through with the new 'indie' trend. The idea behind it sounds cool but I can't get my head around the fact there's no progression apart from personalisation. I'd rather play a game where I know I can unlock weapons and stuff for future use.

Suppose the thing with Apex is the idea of displaying stats to your team each game, showing total kills and various other titles you can add to your profile like surviving a game without being downed as a team etc.

You also have unlockables for your skins and camos.

Also a lot of hype around world records right now, so highest kills.

I was never a fan of battle royale games as well. I did give Apex Legends a try, to me it's an OK game, not my cup of tea but I can see why people would take a liking to this game.

Might also help that it's developed by Respawn who did the majority of COD games between 01-09 as West's Infinity Ward before they were sacked. Titanfall was hyped up because MW and MW2 were so amazingly developed. Kudos to them for making it F2P, however it seems a lot of console game publishers are finally realising you can make a lot more in the long run off MTXs than a base price.

Focused more on Caustic now, the Nox Gas Trap's are perfect for pinpointing enemies & getting your teammates up if you don't have a Bangalore at the ready. I'm not too sure about the Ultimate ability, its basically the same as the traps.

I like that other teams tactical's work for you; i.e if an enemy Lifeline puts down a drone, you can get health from it- as well as that Caustic doesn't get harmed by other Nox Gas & he can see through other people's Nox Gas.

One of the only drawbacks I have with the game is the stat tracking, it's a shame you can't see all of your wins as a collective, along with kills etc.

"See triumph comes from dyin'
Sometime joy comes from cryin'
Sometime healing come from killin"

pathfinders my shit! i really dig the game because of the abilities and how easy the controls are. It's not clunky to an extent.
