House Robbery

Authors comment:I've been wanting to do a house robbery system for literally years now. If you've been a tester or known me you'll know that this idea has literally been floating around for ages now. With the new SA-MP updates and features I've been getting more and more reason to finally do the system. After years of procrastination, ideas, and scripting it's finally here.

Hopefully with this new system we'll not only see new forms of roleplay but a new source of income for underground characters inside of Los Santos! I've enjoyed the work I've done so far with this and judging by staff's reactions they seem to love it as well, hopefully you will too.
General information
You need to have the thief job. More information will be released on that soon.
Events:
    A:
      Image
      During this event you will be handed 15 scrambled words. You must /unscramble them before the time runs up. If the time runs up then the house alarm will go off. If you fail 4 words the event will be over and the alarm will be set off. Accomplishing all 15 words under the time given will crack the alarm and turn it off.

      The time varies per alarm.
        Alarm Level 6 - 45 seconds( 3 seconds per word. )
        Alarm Level 5 - 75 seconds( 5 seconds per word. )
        Everything Below - 130 seconds( 8 seconds per word. )
    B:

      Here you can just start kicking down the door while in front of it. If the house has an alarm it will immediately go off. You lose health slowly when you attack the door, and it goes down faster if you /breakdown with a group.
    C:
      Image
      When attempting to crack a safe you will be presented with this event. It is compiled of 4 different bars, each holding a moving piece. As you can see in the screenshot each key controls one of the movable pieces. Each safe you attempt to crack has it's own code. So if the safe had a code of 4321, you would need to hold right until the piece turns green, then left, then down, then up.

      If you fail the combination you will have to start over. If you crack it the money(25k is max) is yours to grab.
Commands:
  • /crackalarm
      This command can only be done if the house has an alarm on it. This command allows the robber to break into a house without instantly setting off the alarm. You will be presented with Event A(See above). Once you are done cracking the alarm the alarm will turn off and the door will crack open(BETA).
  • /breakin
      If the alarm is cracked or the house has no alarm you can use this as an alternative to /breakdown. You will be presented with specific puzzles that vary per door lock.
  • /breakdown
      If you want to start just beating down the door, Event B(See Above). This will automatically set off the house alarm if the house has one installed.
  • /cmdspot
      If you own the house you can perform this command anywhere(reasonable) inside of an interior. Once done anyone that wants retrieve or place guns, drugs, or money will have to stand in the exact area where cmdspot is. So if you have a mansion and do /cmdspot in a bathroom you, renters, etc will need to go to the bathroom to retrieve or place guns and such.
  • /code
      You must own the house with a safe inside. If a person is trying to rob your money and a safe is in the way they need to get pass your security code for your alarm. With this command you can either do /code random(Let the server pick) or /code <sequence>. The sequence can be 1234, 4321, 2341, etc etc. Can't be higher than 4 nor lower than 1 and the numbers can't be used more than once.
  • /steal
      This is a bit self explanatory. A robber would use this command to /steal a house's items. Once you /steal the item you will now be carrying it. You can either place it in a car(enter the car), /placeitem in a house to keep it, or /sellitem to the furniture product warehouse.
  • /takeitem
      When you put an item in a vehicle use this command to retrieve it from the vehicle.
  • /placeitem
      Enter a house and /placeitem. If there's an open spot inside it will be placed inside for the house to keep.
  • /sellitem
      If you are holding a stolen item you can use this command at a furniture product warehouse. The money you will receive from selling it will be PRICE_OF_ITEM/15.
  • /withdraw
      If you are the robber you perform this command inside of the house to steal money from the cashbox. If the house has a safe you will be presented with Event C. The most that can be stolen from a house in a 15hour time field is 10k.

      Level 1 Alarm - The Ringer
      • Will send a 30 unit radius of **[House Alarm] Ring Ring
      Level 2 Alarm - The Pager
      • Will send a 30 unit radius of **[House Alarm] Ring Ring
      • Send a message to the owner if he/she is online.
      Level 3 Alarm - House Alert
      • Will send a 30 unit radius of **[House Alarm] Ring Ring
      • Send a message to the owner if he/she is online.
      • Will send the police department a message and location of the area.
      Level 4 Alarm - The Tracker
      • Will send a 30 unit radius of **[House Alarm] Ring Ring
      • Send a message to the owner if he/she is online.
      • Will send the police department a message and location of the area.
      • Will create a Image blip icon for the owner/police department.
      Level 5 Alarm - Eagle Eye
      • Will send a 30 unit radius of **[House Alarm] Ring Ring
      • Send a message to the owner if he/she is online.
      • Will send the police department a message and location of the area.
      • Will create a Image blip icon for the owner/police department.
      • Will create a huge checkpoint O for the police department and owner..
      Level 6 Alarm - Zone Alert
      • Will send a 30 unit radius of **[House Alarm] Ring Ring
      • Send a message to the owner if he/she is online.
      • Will send the police department a message and location of the area.
      • Will create a Image blip icon for the owner/police department.
      • Will create a huge checkpoint O for the police department and owner..
      • Will create a gangzone around the area for the owner and police department that flashes.

-If alarm level 3 and above the owner must be online to start.
-There is now a 4 minute cooldown period when performing /breakdown and /crackalarm.

-/cmdspot fixed.
-Max amount of money to be stolen from /withdraw has been dropped to 10k.
-Prices of items have been slashed.
-/sellitem now gives you PRICE_OF_ITEM/10. (You make more money)
-A house with alarm requires the house owner to be online, no longer 3 and above.
-Huge checkpoint will now be a skinny extremely tall checkpoint for 911 reporting. Easier to locate the house, and able to co-exist with current checkpoints on the screen.
-House alarm will not go off if you /stop during a /crackalarm. So if you feel the pressure, feel free to /stop and run away.
-Word mistakes for /crackalarm has been increased to 7.
-Scripted it so a house can only have 4 robbery attempts on it every 3 paydays.
-Houses without an owner can not be robbed.
-Melee weapons can now be used to break down doors, won't lose health when you attack the door.
-Lock Levels brought back.
    Lock Level 1:
    • 1k HP Door Strength
    Level 2:
    • 1.5k HP Door Strength
    • You can only /breakdown the door if wielding a melee weapon.
    Level 3:
    • 2k HP Door Strength
    • You can only /breakdown the door if wielding a melee weapon.
    • (ONLY IF YOU HAVE THE HIGHEST ALARM) Taze protection: The only way to enter the house is through /crackalarm. Hitting it will taze you. The alarm won't be set off, you will just be tazed.
    • Costs 200 dollars every 12 paydays to keep this door.

Dresser Feature

The new feature implemented in the /houseupgrade system which allows you to store a skin inside the dresser which you could change into anytime in your house. The dresser costs $2500 and takes up one slot of your /houseupgrades. It requires you to go buy the clothes from the clothing store for only $2000.


How to use the dresser.

1) In your house do the following to purchase the dresser.:

/houseupgrade buy 10

2)You then need to hit the stores and purchase the skin of your likings which would then be stored in your dresser. These are one of the stores - Sub Urban, Glen Park -.

3)Once inside type in /buyclothes and it'll give you information regarding it.

4)Purchase a skin you want, for instance I purchased Skin:123 for $2000. All skins cost $2000 at the moment.

5)After that, head back to the house and do /placeclothes, this will store the skin in your dresser.

6)When you do that, you could then /changeclothes anytime which gives a little /me sentence and changes your skin.
