Part I - Origin: show

Andrew Hisakawa was born on 16-DEC-1988, the first child of Jasmine and Akiro Hisakawa. Growing up as a third generation Japanese American, Andrew was influenced by his grandfather's love and fascination for Americana.

At age 6, Andrew started attending the now defunct Sadakichi Hartmann Primary Education school in Little Tokyo, Los Santos. Around that time the Hisakawa Family welcomed their younger child - Torao Hisakawa, named after Akrio's father.

From his youth Andrew had a distaste for traditional Japanese culture. He spent most of his free time around his grandfather and grew up to love post-World War Two American culture. While attending Sadakichi Hartmann, the young Hisakawa always preferred associating with the English speaking american students as well as the few non-Japanese inhabitants of Little Tokyo.
Part II - Troubled Teens: show

Entering his teens, Andrew fell in with a band of troublemakers a few years older than him. At the time opportunities and progress in Little Tokyo were sparse. Many of Azalea Lane's youth eventually turned to crime and mischief.

As his parents had limited finances, they were forced to cut down Andrew's allowance in order to put young Torao Hisakawa through his first years in school. The elder son realized the harsh conditions and did his best to assist with his younger brother's upbringing. One way or another, he and his friends always managed to earn a few dollars and survive without support from their families.

Andrew's first encounter with Law Enforcement was at age 15, when he was taken in for hooliganism and damage of property. He and his group of friends had established an extortion racket over a few ramen stands on the street. They forced the vendors to pay them five dollars a day or face the destruction of the vendor's stand. One time when an elderly Japanese man refused to pay them money, they pushed the noodle cart down the Los Santos Canals. Eventually they were arrested and put through an year of juvenile penitentiary.

Work on the thread is still in progress.
