Eastside Sin Town Mafia Crips is a predominantly African-American Crip set controlling the vast majority of Glen Park. The set has recently expanded their turf out to the Bahamas Projects. The crip-affiliated street gang calls their area "Murda Park" and the gang's history is traced back to the early 2000s. Affiliates of the gang are mainly active in drug trafficking, extortion & armed robbery. The gang's recruitment starts at an early age and the member base of the gang is widely spread in ages. There is however a clear dominance in mid-teens in the gang.
At the end of 2013, most individuals who were affiliated with the gang received a substantial prison sentences. After the recent injunction, the organization turned defunct and left a lot of the young African-American affiliates misguided and lost. Jamal M. Wiggins was incarcerated and leads the gang from San Andreas' Correctional Facility.
In the spring of 2014, the incarcerated gang leader has been murdered in the San Andreas Correctional Facility (for more information see the article below). Homicide detectives believe that the murder of Mr. Jamal Wiggins is gang related however there is no evidence which traces back to their suspicion.
It is now unknown on who leads the organization and investigating officers of the Crip set is confused. Money comes in and a lot of dope comes out from "Sin Town", however the Narcotics division has been unable to do any buy & busts on the organization's dope dealers. It is seen that the organization grows day by day and that their turf has increased out to the Bahamas projects in southern Glen Park.
The investigation officers of the organization has now also been seeing a few more bodies getting dropped in Glen Park, heavy suspicions of gang related murders but lack of evidence for any charge. The investigation officers are working tightly with the homicide unit of Los Santos Police Department.

Although not confirmed by law enforcement, it is widely believed that the Glen Park district of Los Santos has quickly become a known Crack-Cocaine and Marijuana hot-spot. The sales have been nicknamed "Cocaine Kush", although for unknown reasons which has left police stumped. However, it is understood that the Marijuana sold in the area does not contain any cocaine. An anonymous member of the gang has claimed that the gang's customer ratio increases daily, with sales often sky-rocketing.
Local house invasion and burglary statistics in Glen Park have been massively increased to a worrying scale. This has led to a massive number of recorded robberies and gun-shots heard in the area, leaving the residents too afraid to walk around the neighborhood during the night.
San Andreas Correctional Facility.
A leader of a Crip set in Glen Park has been found dead in the San Andreas Correctional Facility. The former gang leader Jamal Wiggins was found with eight stab wounds to his neck and throat, police reports suggested. Investigations have been made a priority by the Facility Intelligence Unit. A Correction Officer has suggested motives behind the murder and a gang related homicide being one of the main ones suggested despite there being no evidence to support this.
The murder took place in a corner of the recreational yard of the San Andreas Correctional Facility that cannot be seen by Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras. This resulted in no inmates being able to be considered suspects as of yet. Confidence was high in the Intelligence unit however, as a member of the investigating team told us, "There is never a homicide case that goes unsolved in our facility".
It is known that Wiggins was a member of the Crip street organisation before he died. Reports said that the particular set Wiggins was a member of call themselves the "Sin Town Crips" and they reside in Glen Park. Arrested in the latter end of 2013, Wiggins was one of the ring-leaders of a group of gang members that were incarcerated during a gang injunction at the end of the year. Despite turning defunct after the incarceration of Wiggins and his companions, recent reports have described a big boom in activity in the Glen Park area.
TRIPLE HOMICIDE AT AIRPORT COMPLEX
On the evening of November 18th, a horrific shooting had occurred in the Airport's complex. Corpses of Caine DeRozan, Zacharias McCoy and Rakim Palmer were found slaughtered in the hallway of the complex, by Janice Poindexter, a fifty-two year old resident at the apartment building. She recalled; "I heard these gunshots for at least five minutes. They just kept going off, didn't stop for once. I ducked under the table and waited for the shots to stop, and also called the police. At last, I thought the police were outside, but all that was left was the three bodies, and a trail of blood leading through the hallway. One of the bodies were shred into pieces... It was horrible. A true massacre."
Furthermore, the LSPD have located another body linked to the massacre. The body of Marquise Briscoe was reported in All Saints General, shortly after the shooting. Briscoe had sadly lost his pulse when the LSPD had got to him, and died of multiple gun shot wounds and major blood loss.
Detective J. Mercedez vows; "We will get to the bottom of this. That's a guarantee, by me, and my squad. Nothing like this should happen, especially at the doorstep of Los Santos." If you have any information regarding the homicide, please contact your local precinct right away.
OOC notes: This faction was created in order to portray not only a realistic African-American gang but also a realistic African-American community. We focus heavily on character development — showing up as an already full-blown gang member (which steals and robs and SHOOTS) without the slightest character development is not going to take you anywhere in this faction.
This faction uses IRC to communicate OOCly and tries to refrain from using /b in-game as much as possible. In order to join our IRC channel, simply type /join #sintown.
We have had some questions about our old name. Our IC gang name is Sin Town Mafia Crips, the faction name is totally OOC and we have chose to name the faction Eastside Skidrow Sinners because we role-play in the Skidrow (ghetto) in Eastside. The jumped in members are sinners since they represent Sin Town Crips and therefore the name "Eastside Skidrow Sinners".
We have achieved one of our goals now and became an official faction of LS:RP. This means that we have been blessed with having an usergroup along with having our very own private forum here on the LS:RP forums. How will the usergroup work? The requirements for being invited to the usergroup is that you are a decent roleplayer and show proper activity for at least one week. Then you will have to be recommended by anyone who is in the usergroup. We have decided to put one week as a limit just so we know that you are here to stay.
In order to post screenshots on our faction topic, you must be added to the aforementioned usergroup that I was talking about before. You must also have read this thread in order to get permission to post screenshots. We also ask members of the community not to post irrelevant stuff on our topic as we would like to showcase our role-play and keep the topic as clean as possible. Thanks.
If you have been roleplaying with us for a while and just been forgotten to be added to the usergroup, contact damaz or ZiiP through PMs.
When it comes to character-killing in game, we reserve the right to character-kill your character, but obviously you have to accept it first. As you get invited to the usergroup, you will eventually have to confirm that we reserve the right to CK you.
You are expected to follow all the server's rules and remain in-character at all costs. Failure to do so will result in an OOC punishment.
If you have any questions concerning the faction or has a complaint on a member, please contact damaz via PMs.
