San Andreas Network (SAN) is a media conglomerate committed to the production and marketing of entertainment, news and information towards the public of San Andreas. The network is located inside of the world-renowned Star Building, head-quartered in Los Santos, San Andreas. The network owns and operates a number of of television shows, articles, local stations, and radio broadcasts.
San Andreas Network, originally built from and known as the San Andreas Post, went into operation in September 2007 under a joint operation of the San Andreas government and Anton Asimov in a public-private partnership. San Andreas Post went through a variety of changes, expansions and on October 2011 the broadcasting operations officially bundled together under the current establishment of San Andreas Network.
Over the seven years the network has gone through over a dozen sets of leaderships and in the process has obtained and lost a number of assets along the voyage. With the sudden end to San Andreas Post and unforeseen changes during the many developments of the network it was met with a growing list of concerns, criticisms and doubt. With the network up and down spirals on the tax payers dime the State of San Andreas was prompted often to take action.

The San Andreas Network has been running for over 8 years, and in that time period has acquired two main assets which are vital to the current running of the company. The two assets are used on a daily basis, one being for the broadcasting and the other for an office and headquarters. Both are essential and crucial to the San Andreas Network.
The world famous Star Building was constructed in 1988 by the company Starrett Bros. & Eken whom also constructed the Empire State Building, located in central Manhattan. Towering at 1,867 feet and with a staggering 137 floors, the Star Building is one of the tallest buildings in America. The $80,000,000 building took 4 and a half years to build, and was initially funded by Verona Co. for a new headquarters, which they wanted based in western USA.
The Star Building was pronounced the 13th tallest building in the world in 1989, when the Mayor of Los Santos cut the opening ribbon. The owner in 1989, CEO of Verona Co. Winsley Macintosh, initially used the Star Building as a headquarters, however due to lack of funds, they had to rent it out to the public.
San Andreas Post bought the Star Building in early 2007, after having a $3,000,000 refurbishment on the whole tower. After expanding their assets, and adding diversity to the San Andreas Post, they then declared in October 2011, that the San Andreas Post had became a network.
The San Andreas Network studio was constructed in 2013, later to be completed in 2014. Former CEO, Sophie Elizabeth Holcombe, hosted a charity event in the famous Obsidian nightclub to raise the funds required for completion.
After the departure of David Winfrey, former CEO of the San Andreas Network, the company sold the studio at auction and began building another studio located right next to the Star Building.
