Keybinds:
Keybinds have been a point of controversy for some time now. The existing clause under rule five that covers the way in which they should be used is far too ambiguous for anyone to be able to establish any real understanding of what proper usage is actually defined as. In response to this and following extensive admin discussion, the following amendment is being made to rule five:
NOV 23, 2016:
  • 5. Third Party Modifications

    Code: Select all

    [REMOVE] Keybinds are allowed, but must not be used in an unfair manner.
    
    [ADD] Keybinds that script influential role-play / responses, give you any sort of advantage over other players or act as macros to shorten server commands are forbidden. Frequently used [b]emotes[/b] (not server commands) that do not drastically impact a scene - e.g. describing your character's appearance, performing a repetitive action such as keying a radio or brandishing a small weapon (where no role-play is technically needed) and anything else along those lines may be bound to a key. In short, they may only be used to [b]enhance[/b] role-play. It is your responsibility to ensure that your binds are in line with this rule. 
    
    Exceptions:
    [ADD] Police megaphone usage and /siren binds (only when unable to type) are allowed.


Court Rules:
Following a discussion between game administrators, the following amendments have been made to rule ten:
NOV 23, 2016:
  • 10. Court Rules

    Code: Select all

    [REMOVE] You may not namechange or Character Kill (CK) yourself when:
    You have scammed or robbed someone in the last 48 hours.
    
    [ADD] You may not name-change or Character Kill (CK) yourself when:
    You have scammed someone in the last 6 days.
    You have robbed someone in the last 48 hours.


Transferring Assets:
It has become apparent that clarification on the rules surrounding the transfer of assets between characters is necessary. The following amendments have been made to account rule six:
NOV 23, 2016:
  • 6. Transfer Requests

    Code: Select all

    [ADD] Vehicles, weapons and drugs are not transferable - transfers are limited to money or properties.
    
    [ADD] You are not allowed to transfer 100% of your assets (money and properties) from one character to another - a name-change should be purchased if you wish to transfer all of your wealth to a new name.
    
    [ADD] Additionally, for security purposes, any large sum of money or property transactions between players require the approval of an online game administrator, e.g. a few million. If in doubt: just ask the admins.


Legal Faction Rules:
NOV 19, 2016:
  • 13. Legal Faction Rules

    Code: Select all

    [ADD] M4 Allowance:
    
    To damage a non-compliant aircraft that is posing a threat to the public as a last resort.
    
    Units should attempt to contact National Guard before using lethal force, unless there is an opportunity to prevent the threat from escalating whilst the suspect is attempting to take off and evade in a helicopter from a non-residential area.
