The D'Aquila Crime Family is it dead?
Donald Scarpa in court in 2017
In mid-2016, the people of Los Santos won as the infamous D'Aquila Crime Family, was taken down. An Italian American mafia group, the organization plagued Los Santos for years. In it's prime the family did it all murder, extortion, racketeering, money-laundering if it was able to make money members of the D'Aquila Crime Family did it. As the RICO indictments reigned down on members of the group, there was a misguided belief amongst the city that this was the end. That the Cosa Nostra would no longer plague the city of Los Santos like it does so many East Coast cities.
The San Andreas mob trial left the D'Aquila family weak with most of it's leadership behind bars. While most of its members got long sentences two rising caporegimes Donald Scarpa and Samuel Lupo were back on the streets were back on the streets within a week. It is speculated that former boss Joesph Uttaro appointed Samuel Lupo to the head of the Los Santos portion of the D'Aquila Crime Family. Next in line would be a longtime friend of Lupo's Donald Scarpa. With Lupo calling the shots and Scarpa at second-in-command it seemed the D'Aquila's saw a brief resurgence before another fall. Internal fighting and jail sentences erupted destroying the end of Lupo's reign.
After the fallout another new head was appointed, Donald "Donnie Blue" Scarpa finally got his shot and so far he hasn't made much of it. It is believed the D'Aquila Crime Family is hardly active anymore and is nothing more than a glorified crew in Los Santos. Other LCN groups out of Eastmoor have largely taken over the scene.

Neo-Nazi Gangs in the Heart of Los Santos's Public Beaches
Taking a stroll through Santa Maria and Verona beach, what do you expect to find? Half-Naked women, surfers, skaters and lots of tourists. Many would not suspect a highly organized and highly dangerous set of racist skinhead gangsters to roam the streets. These gangs have adopted a mix of the sureno gangster culture and the prison culture of major White Supremacist gangs such as the Nazi Low Riders, Public Enemy Number 1 and the Aryan Brotherhood.
Many of the young men are fully clad in white supremacist symbols donning swastikas and other racist imagery. They've adopted an extreme distaste to tourists claiming the beach is for "Locals Only," this culture as led to numerous brawls in public areas like the beach and pier where a non-local tried to use something a "Santa Maria Skinhead" dubbed as theirs.
These gangs are the foot soldiers for the larger white prison gangs and many of the top white shot callers on the streets and in prison come from Santa Maria. The group is suspected to be extremely loosely organized with most it's members being addicted to the drugs they sell. They must not of heard Biggie Smalls rules.
The group is suspected to have a close relationship with various sureno groups, motorcycle clubs, and other skinhead groups. So the next time your swimming down at the beach check the tattoos of the guy next to you, he just might be a member of the Santa Maria Skinheads.
