EAST LOS SANTOS CLAIMS BACK VIOLENT, GUN AND NARCOTIC RIDDLED REPUTATION,
FELTON AVENUE AND SIXTH STREET LIVELIHOOD RATE DROPS TO ALL TIME LOW
By Dillon Zimmerman | November 27, 2018
Inset: Felton Avenue corner towards Sixth Street, East Los Santos.
Once housing the city's most notorious fugitives, East Los Santos has always been a go-to spot for wanted felons and gang members for it's notoriety for having maneuverability and ease of both access and escape.
An area of the East that's bedridden with ongoing street warfare, Felton Avenue and Sixth Street is no stranger parts in the area when it comes to gangs, drugs, and violence. As it was formerly occupied by but not limited to: Ruthless and violent Blood affiliated sets, A medium-to-large scaled Drug Trafficking Organization, A group of straight shooting hispanics. The list goes on.
But it seems to be that nowadays, the Felton Avenue Corner that leads all the way through the Six has been quiet, as per LSPD announcing the tallies for each block area arrest for the first to second quarter of 2018, with Felton and Sixth gathering a highly surprising six to seven arrests related to gangs and or drugs. But as history and time has told, it's only a matter of time until a surge in criminal activity relapses back into the area.
Inset: A public release photo of the firearms (one being a sniper rifle), drug money, and ounces of narcotics seized.
Furthermore, just recently one house, believed to be a squat house for young juveniles and other fiends have been raided by the LSPD, to back up the facts and statistics even more further, the Gang Unit, and Narcotics and Firearms have seized a hefty amount of drug and firearm related paraphernalia inside, even though no arrests were made as the tenants of said house were nowhere to be found when the raid commenced.
What's more mind crunching is that of all the arrests made in the area by the LSPD, the amount of teenagers apprehended have sky rocketed towards unprecedented territory, with over a age median of nineteen to twenty three. Drugs, Firearms, and intense Rivalries have rocked the once thriving area down to it's core once more, with no immediate answer to the madness, the only question left to be answered is when is it going to end?
MAN FOUND DEAD IN FELTON AVENUE CORNER,
RIDDLED WITH BULLETS
By Tyler Patterson | October 19, 2018
Inset: Felton Avenue corner towards Sixth Street, East Los Santos, where the murder was perpetrated.
The residents of East Los Santos woke up to a violent barrage of automatic assault rifles in the early hours of the morning, in what seems to be a day in the life of living in the inner city firepower jungle that is the East. As soon as the shots rang out and faded to black, a couple of residents found a lifeless Rodell Gaskins laying in it's wake. Riddled by a staggering twenty seven close range shots of what seems to be an assault rifle, Gang Unit and Firearms and Narcotics Division of the LSPD is quick to assume and declare that this was too much for a gang or urban warfare casualty to be this vicious.
If the LSPD is to be believed, Gaskins was supposedly murdered by not way of a casualty in light of a brewing urban warfare between street gangs in the East, but rather a hit. Even more so to boot that when Gaskins' body was examined even more further, they have unraveled a .357 Magnum and a couple of bullets tucked by his waist, and about five and a half grams of what seemed to be unadulterated cocaine. Eyewitnesses have conformed that it was not only done by a single gunman, but two.
