Following the resignation of Chris Feller from the Department of Special Services, the San Andreas Department of Justice has hired former CDCR Lieutenant Amanda Roberts as the new head of the state-sponsored protective services. Amanda Roberts has extensive experience in leadership roles, being a former command member of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, and as the head of two failing divisions in the CDCR, has managed to bring new life to the California agency through their Division of Adult Parole Operations (DAPO) and their K-9 Program, which provided support to the DAPO. Amanda Roberts served in the CDCR for 18 years and also served in the San Andreas Department of Corrections, reaching the rank of Corporal, and will be a vital resource to the Justice Department, and we wish her luck and longevity in her new line of work.

The Justice Department has continued developing its infrastructure whilst in its period of downtime, however, and has recently mandated the creation of the State Bureau of Investigation, whose Director has been named as Christopher Mattson. Christopher Mattson is a former long-time detective with the Los Santos Police Department, racking up a formidable arrest record, and has been involved in many important case files with the Detective Bureau. Mattson will be leading the Bureau through its infancy and onward, and is tasked with getting the Bureau on its feet. The State Bureau of Investigation is the primary investigative agency at the Justice Department's disposal, and will primarily be used to serve the Los Santos District Attorney and the Courts of San Andreas. The State Bureau of Investigation will also be tasked with independent corruption complaint investigations, and will act as a third party when investigating allegations of corruption. All arrests and cases forwarded by the State Bureau of Investigation will ultimately be put before a judge for adjudication.

If you'd like to know more, do not hesitate to contact the Department of Justice on 1-800-JUSTICE or by e-mailing Deputy Attorney General Sophie Thyne or Special Advisor Charles Moreno of the Community Affairs Division.
