Samp win 10

Post by Zupps » Wed Aug 01, 2018 8:33 pm

I’m having the biggest headache now again. I deleted all my GTA stuff and re downloaded GTA.
I’m going to need a step by step tut to install the correct SAMP and to be able to play with mods all on win 10

If you have the steam version of San Andreas follow this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZVuYZrtHWo
Or this: https://gtaforums.com/topic/753764-san- ... owngrader/

You must downgrade to version 1.0 to run SAMP.

Sometimes in WIN 10 some of the files don't initiate properly, try to rename your GTA folder from Grand Theft Auto San Andreas to Grand Theft Auto San Andreas2, if you downgrade it a lot of WIN 10 and 8.1/8 users have that issue and renaming the main folder helps a lot. It does for me, for several others I've helped in past.

Have you tried the windows 10 fix?

Two ones I know of:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8UhZRqVNv9I (if using, read the warning)
https://www.upload.ee/files/7167413/win ... ix.7z.html

I'll drop some of the most common windows 10 fixes, if none of these work it may be your GTA that's corrupted.

Delete gta-sa.set in your GTA San Andreas User Files. If that doesn't work run your gta_sa.exe in compatibility mode by right clicking and pressing "properties", heading over to the compatibility tab, check the run in compatibility mode box and select Windows 98/ME.

If none of those methods work you should install crashes.asi - https://github.com/Whitetigerswt/gtasa_ ... x/releases - it was made to fix around 30 reasons to crash.

If none of the above work play around with removing mods if you have any to see which ones make you crash.

So I just downloaded gta from steam it’s the one I have and I can’t get any other version to work. If I downgrade it and install samp it works but if I try to add a ENB it’s WW3

Which Windows 10 do you have? Home?

Windows 10 and GTA SA ENBs rarely work together at all. If none of the above solutions have worked, it's pretty doubtful you'll find one that does.

Okay, so I reinstalled it and then downgraded it to 1.0. Didn't install any mods besides SA-MP and it worked. I then went super carefully insalling Silents ASI loader and then after that modloader. Now, modloader isn't working right now as it sits in the GTA: Directory so I'm trying to figure that out..
